Teddy Sports World is a sports, training, education, entertainment and lifestyle program all rolled into one and is targeted at children aged 2 1⁄2 to 5+ years. As of January 2023, Teddy Sports World classes are being delivered in diverse places in London, Glasgow, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Shanghai, Karachi and Cairo. Teddy lessons have been conceived, created, designed and subject to ongoing development in England. Teddy Tennis was first started in 2002 in London and expanded from there on.
MEET THE FOUNDERS
Stephen Bean is a career marketer and has spent 20+ years working in corporate marketing in the computing sector. More recently Stephen has been involved in teaching and lecturing in marketing. Stephen has combined his commercial, marketing and teaching skills to develop the Teddy Tennis program into a deliverable and highly desirable lifestyle program for young children.
Richard Bean is a career tennis coach and singer songwriter who has combined both skills & expertise to create the Teddy Tennis concept. Richard, who is one of the UK’s leading children’s tennis coaches, attributes his success to his unique ability to communicate and interact with young children. Through these special communications skills, Richard has been able to tap into the imagination of his young pupils and to jointly create the songs, stories and characters that make up Teddy Tennis.
